Does the PUSHPRO fit on a children's bike?

The PUSHPRO is designed for compatible children's vehicles with wheel sizes ranging from 10 to 20 inches. These include kids' bikes, balance bikes, and compatible tricycles with a seat post diameter of 20 to 30 mm. At least 15 mm of free mounting space is required on the seat post for clamping. Before installation, check whether the manufacturer of the respective children’s vehicle permits the attachment of accessories to the seat post .

Weighing only about 450 g, it keeps the additional weight on the children’s vehicle to a minimum, making it the perfect complement to high-quality, lightweight, and super-lightweight children’s vehicles.

Many traditional push bars are made of steel and, as a result, add extra weight to the child’s bike. The PUSHPRO deliberately takes a different approach: maximum functionality with the lightest possible weight. Parents who placed a high priority on a low overall weight when purchasing their child’s bike don’t have to install an unnecessarily heavy solution when using the training and push aid.

Triple-coned AA-6061 aluminum

At the heart of the PUSHPRO is its high-quality, lightweight construction made of AA-6061 aluminum. The tubes feature a triple-coned design: The wall thickness is specifically tailored to the respective load, allowing material and weight to be reduced where they are not needed. The result is a construction that is exceptionally lightweight, yet robust, corrosion-resistant, and durable.

800 mm height – comfortable grip position

The PUSHPRO is approximately 800 mm tall and, according to the product specifications, is suitable for adults up to approximately 1.90 m tall. The greater height makes it easier to support the child and reduces the need to bend over continuously while walking alongside the children's vehicle.

Ergonomic two-handed grip

The generously curved handle clearly sets the PUSHPRO apart from classic straight push bars. A continuous, generously sized foam grip surface along the curved handle area allows for different hand positions. Depending on the situation, the PUSHPRO can be comfortably held with one hand or with both hands. This provides additional control when stabilizing, guiding, and pushing the children’s vehicle.

Learning aid and sliding aid in one

The PUSHPRO helps parents as their child takes their first attempts at riding. Gentle pressure can stabilize the child's ride and help guide or correct the direction of travel. If the child gets tired while out and about, the handle can also be used as a handy pushing aid.

It is mounted directly to the seat post. The included quick release are designed for quick and easy installation and are the recommended mounting method. Alternatively, the provided long cylinder head bolts can be used.

Modular and space-saving

The PUSHPRO consists of two interconnected aluminum tube segments and a separate clamping device. Its modular design allows it to be disassembled into a more compact form for transport and storage.

Anodized color options

In the case of the color-anodized versions, the color is created by anodizing the aluminum surface rather than applying a traditional coat of paint. This preserves the aluminum's high-quality, metallic appearance.

Suitable for most children’s bicycles ranging from 10 to 20 inches with a compatible seat post with a diameter of 20 to 30 mm. At least 15 mm of free clamping surface is required on the seat post for mounting. Due to the mounted clamp, the saddle may no longer be able to lower completely to its lowest position. Before installation, check whether the manufacturer of the respective children’s vehicle permits the attachment of accessories to the seat post .

Attach the PUSHPRO exclusively to a suitable seat post . Do not mount it on other bicycle components. The included quick release are recommended for mounting. Alternatively, the provided long cylinder-head screws can be used. All fasteners must be correctly installed and securely tightened.

Before first use and before each subsequent use, check the clamp, bar components, quick release , and screw connections, as well as all fasteners, for correct installation, a secure fit, and damage. The push bar must not twist, shift, or come loose during use.

Before each use, also check that saddle and seat post are securely fastened, the steering moves freely, the wheels roll freely, and the brakes function properly. Do not use if parts are damaged, bent, loose, heavily worn, or otherwise impaired in their function.

The PUSHPRO is intended solely to assist in stabilizing, guiding, and pushing the children’s vehicle. Do not use it to pull, lift, or carry the children’s vehicle. Do not make any sudden steering movements using the push bar.

When holding or pushing the vehicle, the child’s ride and steering behavior will change. The child and the accompanying adult must first become familiar with the altered ride behavior on a flat, unobstructed, and traffic-free surface.

The child must wear an appropriate bicycle helmet. Use only on flat and safe paths. Do not use on slippery surfaces or in extreme weather conditions.

Do not make any unauthorized modifications to the push bar, clamping device, or fasteners. Damaged or missing fasteners must be replaced before further use.
Store in a clean, dry place protected from the elements. Clean and dry before storage. Regularly check the clamp and screws for corrosion, damage, and a secure fit.
