With the 18-inch bike trailer, children can enjoy longer bike rides together with their parents. The child sits on their own saddle and can actively pedal along or be pulled along from time to time. Ideal for family outings where the route is still too long to cover entirely on their own kids' bike .

WILL THE TRAILER FIT MY BIKE?

The bike trailer is attached directly to the seatpost ( seat post ) of the lead bike using its JOINT clamp connection. For installation, a standard steel seatpost ( seat post ) with a maximum diameter of 31.8 mm is required. Additionally, at least 50 mm of free seatpost length is needed to securely fasten the clamp. For larger seatpost diameters within the permissible range, correspondingly longer mounting bolts may be required. The bicycle trailer is not suitable for carbonseat posts, suspension seat posts , or dropper posts seat posts. Please check before purchasing whether the seat post of the towing bicycle meets these requirements. Depending on the geometry of the towing bike, the drawbar can be mounted facing up or down. Thanks to the quick-release system, the trailer can be easily attached and detached. Additionally, the frame is foldable, allowing it to be transported or stored in a more space-efficient manner.

WHAT AGE GROUP IS THE RUNNING TOY SUITABLE FOR?

The bike trailer is recommended for children ages 5 and up who are at least 105 cm tall. The maximum rider weight, including cargo, is 55 kg. It is also essential that the child feels confident enough to ride in a bike trailer. The seat height can be adjusted from approximately 56 to 72 cm. The handlebar height and angle can also be individually adjusted to suit the child.

JOIN IN OR JUST TAG ALONG

While riding, the child can pedal the “ pedals ” on their own or be carried part of the way. This allows parents and children to cover longer distances together without the child having to complete the entire trip under their own power. Especially on longer family outings, the child remains an active part of the bike ride and can take breaks when they start to tire.

LIGHTWEIGHT, STURDY, AND CHILD-FRIENDLY

Weighing approximately 9 kg, the follow-along bike combines a sturdy Hi-Ten steel frame with child-friendly geometry and a low step-through. The ergonomic children’s saddle and the various adjustment options at saddle and handlebar allow for customization to fit the child’s height.

Child-friendly equipment includes handlebar pads, non-slip handlebar grips, reflective non-slippedals, chain guard, mudguard, large reflectors , and a bicycle bell. Before every ride, you should check in particular that the clutch, quick release, tyre, rims, saddle , and steering are securely fastened and functioning properly. Appropriate protective gear is required for use. In particular, the child should wear a bicycle helmet and sturdy shoes.

Final assembly and adjustment must be performed by an adult in accordance with the operating instructions. Before purchasing, check the diameter, material, and available clamping surface of the seat post on the towing bicycle: standard steelseat post up to 31.8 mm, with at least 50 mm of clearance. Attach the JOINT clamp only there; do not attach it to carbon, suspension, or retractable seatposts. Depending on the permissible seatpost diameter, longer mounting screws may be necessary. Align the drawbar according to the tow bike’s geometry. Before each ride, check the coupling, quick release, tyre, rims, saddle , and steering to ensure they are securely fastened and functioning properly.

Store in a clean, dry place protected from the elements. Clean and lightly lubricate the chain before prolonged storage. Before use, check the clamp, quick release, tyre , and screw connections.

Manufacturer's Warranty

A 12-month limited manufacturer's warranty on the frame , effective from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper use, lack of maintenance, accidents, or unauthorized modifications to the product. Wear-and-tear parts are excluded from the warranty. Statutory warranty and defect rights remain unaffected.
