UNIVERSAL & ADJUSTABLE

The VARIO luggage rack is compatible with most 16- and 18-inchkids' bikes bikes that have the appropriate frame mount. Thanks to its adjustable design, it can be adapted to different frame geometries within the specified wheel sizes.

THESE MOUNTING POINTS ARE REQUIRED

For installation, there must be two upper threaded eyelets in the area of the seat tube/seat stays, as well as two lower threaded eyelets on the left and right near the rear wheel axle. Please check the mounting points and frame geometry before purchasing.

LIGHTWEIGHT & DURABLE

Made from high-quality square aluminum tubing. The mounting kit includes sturdy stainless steel components.

WITH HINGED FLAP & TENSION STRAP

The spring-loaded flap and the included tension strap help secure luggage to the cargo area. A reflector improves visibility from behind.

MAX. 15 KG PAYLOAD

Maximum load capacity: 15 kg. You must also take into account the bicycle's gross vehicle weight rating.

Structure

Installation must be performed by a competent adult in accordance with the instructions. Check for two suitable upper and two suitable lower frame eyelets. Align the rack centrally and as horizontally as possible above the rear wheel; tyre, mudguard; the brake and moving parts must remain unobstructed. Tighten M4 screws to 2.4 Nm and M5 screws to 4.0 Nm. Distribute luggage evenly and secure it; keep loose straps away from tyre and spokes . Check before every ride and inspect all screw connections after the first 100 km.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS: Installation must be performed by a competent adult. Four suitable mounting points must be available on the bicycle for installation: two upper threaded eyelets in the area of the seat tube/seat stays, and two lower threaded eyelets on the left and right near the rear wheel axle. Align the rack centrally and as horizontally as possible above the rear wheel. Tighten the M4 screws to 2.4 Nm and the M5 screws to 4.0 Nm. The rack must not touch tyre, mudguard, the brake, or other moving parts. Max. load: 15 kg. Observe the bicycle’s maximum permissible weight. Not suitable for child seats. Do not carry passengers. Do not use to attach or pull bicycle trailers. Distribute luggage evenly and secure it properly. Loose straps must not get caught in tyre or spokes . Do not cover the reflectors. Do not modify the luggage rack. Loading may affect steering and braking performance. Check the mounting, screws, and luggage rack before every ride. Do not continue to use if there are cracks, deformations, or other damage. Check all screw connections after the first 100 km, then inspect them regularly.

Store in a dry, clean place protected from the elements. Allow to dry completely after exposure to moisture. Check screws, mounting points, the spring-loaded flap, and the tension strap for wear and corrosion.

Manufacturer's Warranty

2-year manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase against material and manufacturing defects when used as intended. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, improper installation, overloading, accidental damage, unauthorized modifications, or damage resulting from misuse. Warranty claims must be submitted with proof of purchase and a description of the defect. Statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.
